Three days ago, Pope Francis wrote us a new letter:
the Encyclical letter “Dilexit nos” “ HE LOVED US”,

in which he encourages us to rediscover the love and compassion found in the heart of Christ, the “Sacred Heart”. In this letter, Pope Francis speaks of the Importance of the heart, the actions and words of love, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, A love that gives itself as a drink, the call to love in return.
Here is a comment by Cardinal Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster :
“I welcome the remarkable Letter published today by Pope Francis. It speaks eloquently of the love of God for every person. It speaks the language of the heart, a language known to all who love, who yearn, who feel pain, who know loneliness,” […] “It speaks of the heart of Jesus, both fully human and filled with the infinite, divine love of the Creator for every person.” Card Vincent Nichols, (Quoted in The Catholic Herald’s Website)
