ALPHA at St Antony's

In our Alpha course we explore some of the really important questions of life and look at the basic questions of the Christian faith surrounding the person of Jesus Christ.

Our next course begins on Wednesday 22 April 2020 at 7.30pm. It will run to 24 June with a Retreat Day on Saturday 23 May.  These are the subjects that will be covered:

Is there more to life than this?
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
How can we have faith?
Why and how do I pray?

Who is the Holy Spirit and how can I be filled with this Spirit?
Why and how should I read the Bible?
How does God guide us?
What about the Church?
How can I resist evil?
Why and How should I tell others?

All are welcome, whether you are a parishioner of St Antony’s or not, of any faith or none.  If you have questions about the meaning of life in general, and wish to explore them in an open and friendly but informative environment, come along and bring a friend too!  Check the newsletter for more details and updates, and see the poster in the porch.  Enquiries: forestgate@dioceseofbrentwood.org
