Sunday Bible Study – Mary in the Bible with Brant PitreOur Sunday Online Bible Study will be starting up on Sunday January 28th and thissemester’s theme will be Mary in the Bible with Brant Pitre. Posada Celebration - Friday 15 December, 7.30pm

This celebration re-enacts the journey of Mary and Joseph, their rejection along the way and finally finding a place to welcome the child Jesus into the world. The journey will take us outside the Church initially and finish in St Francis Hall with a warm drink, some food and the singing of Christmas Carols together. This is something that children will enjoy and there will be a Pinata for the children to open also. I hope you can join us. Please bring food and drinks to share....

Feast of the Immaculate Conception - 8th December

On Friday 8th December, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception there will be three Masses (7.45am, 10am, 7.30pm) and at the end of the evening mass at 7.30pm there will be a candle lit procession in honour of our Blessed Mother. For those who would like to offer flowers for the bier of Our Lady please bring donations of flowers to the church on Thursday morning (7th Dec) after the morning mass. Thank you...

Registration for Confirmation 2024

Applications are now being accepted for teenagers who wish to receive the sacrament of Confirmation at the parish in 2024. The application form is available at this link:https://stantonys.churchsuite.com/forms/djmh98dt Candidates must have a date of birth between 20th May 2006 and 18th May 2010. Please note, you must have the applicant’s baptismal certificate ready to upload as part of the application process. The deposit payment of £80 will be due in January at the first parents’ meeting. Homeless Shelter meeting 10 December 2pm

Last year from January to April, every Saturday evening, we opened our doors tothe homeless. The men and women who were welcomed into our parish for a nightexperienced the warmth and hospitality of St Anthony’s parish community and somedelicious food (They voted us the best meals of the all the places they had been!).Those of us who welcomed them and spent time with them, were also deeplytouched by their plight and the wonderful characters we met along the way.A big thank you to all who volunteered their time and energy.Sometimes we feel......

A Catholic Walking Retreat in the Sahara, 26 February -11 March 2024

Sunday Bible Study in person - 29 October
